Abandoned Threads / Re: Forums Layout.
« on: January 05, 2012, 02:42:58 am »
Very nice - it would be a very clean layout this way, but may take a while to get used to. I also would suggest adding a "PLAY" button for the Webclient above the Chatbox on the homepage, since I quite often hear people in the chatbox wondering "how do I play the server? I don't see the webclient button?". Also, Putinz, you would have to add another tab for Staff Applications, etc. All together its just a thought.

Thanks,

Dylan

Abandoned Threads / Re: removing dice.

For one Subject, I seem to find you dicing quite often, and not really stopping when people seem to run low on funds. But anyway, people should know what they are getting into when they are dicing or dding. They will and must accept the consequences of the items that they may win or lose, just as if they were gambling at a casino. As for the matter of new players dicing all their money away - it is up to them to do this, but you do have the chance and choice to say "no" and allow them to keep their bank and continue to play the game, instead of saying "yes" and raging them out of the game. Common sense can go a long way.  ;)

Thanks,
Dylan

Most of these items are currently undergoing work or developing in thought. Thank you for the reminder and extra suggestions though.

Another few ideas...

1: Create a new imp for Hunter - 99 Hunt required. ONLY drops jars that contain either nothing or a rare X-mas event item (Santa Gear/Hat/Etc.).
2: Create a new teleport to a X-Mas event area - characters and vendors all dressed up in event gear, and contains monsters that drop tokens that you can then spend on X-mas event gear.
3: This continues on Token idea. Tokens=Dropped in quanitites of 10 or 20, and each X-mas item sells in a vendor store for 1000-10000 or above each. Such as Santa=100000 Tokens.
4: Create a new food that you can eat (ONLY in the month of December) that heals for 2 more than the max food (available in-game atm).
5: Create/Spawn an X-mas tree in place of the Well at Edgeville teleport - Spirit of Holiday. And add presents around it, hehe.

Need more? Find me in game or Pm me.

Ideas for Christmas Event:

1: Vote for points that you can spend on rare x-mas items.
2: Add another boss (with an additional teleport) that drops items (on a low drop rate) such as Santa's, and other rares.
3: Drop random items on the ground (random spawning) inside presents - that you may then open and find a rare, common or very common item (from godswords to burnt shrimp).
4: Code the "Home" zone to look like a Christmas Wonderland. Ex: Snow falling on your screen while in Edgeville, and all characters have some christmas items or affects bestowed upon them or in the area near them.
5: Add a new vendor for a week or 2 week period, selling only the Santa Hat, Santa Outfit (Chest, Legs, Gloves, etc.), Sled, and other Christmas related items for MAJOR CASH (1b minimum).
6: Add a "Santa-Claus" Character at home who is permanently doing the ::sit command, and has presents around him.
7: Add lights (if possible) to places in game, such as the "Well" at the home teleport (Edgeville).

I have many more ideas - these are just a few of them.

If you need any more - pst me in game.

Your welcome, and thanks,
